Welcome To Our Club

The Vingt Neuf Archery Club was started in the 1950's and is chartered with The National Field Archery Association and The Maryland Archery Association.

The club property of 25 acres includes a club house with a 20 yard archery indoor range, a six target outdoor practice range, a fourteen target outdoor field range, and a two target broadhead range. The club holds indoor and outdoor archery shoots throughout the year.

Clear plastic sneeze shields now separate each archer. Some class sizes have been reduced.

Indoor Archery

In our Indoor Club & Sanctioned Shoots, archers shoots at either NFAA or FITA style paper targets. These shoots are held from November through March and include Maryland State Championships as well as the Mid Atlantic Star FITA and other FITA and JOAD events.

Outdoor Archery

Our Outdoor target season runs from April until October. The fourteen target range, which must be shot twice, offers shots with distances from 20 feet out to 80 yards. The targets vary in size and color.

3-D Archery Shoots

Shooting at life size 3-D animals ranging from deer, bears, wolves, African Safari type animals, frog, turkeys, pigs, and dinosaurs. Each animal has scoring rings sanctioned by the IBO. Distances are unmarked.

Family Archery

Fun for the whole family! Family Archery is for the beginner archer with classes held on Saturday mornings starting with the first Saturday in November ending by mid-March.

JOAD Archery

Advanced training class for archers who own their equipment and range in age from 10-20 years. JOAD awards achievement and helps young archers to enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to competition level.
